About the event
We are kicking off my Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Visionary of the year Campaign by hosting a blood drive on March 8th at BC! At last year’s blood drive, we had 31 generous donors. Each donor gives enough blood for 3 blood transfusions, that’s 93 lives saved! Emily received 33 blood transfusions during her initial hospital admission. As I nurse, I have given numerous blood transfusions to both my adult and neonatal patients. I can’t begin to explain the impact that donating blood makes! Please consider donating if you can!
